We are seeking a new live-in Caretaker!
The successful candidate will be organized and resourceful, with varied maintenance, grounds-keeping, and people skills. They will be responsible for general Hall and grounds care, client and event support, and cleaning.
This person must be comfortable with rural life in a semi-public location. This job averages 24 hours per month, with more work in summer than in winter. Compensation is in the form of a rent reduction. The Caretaker must have flexible availability that can accommodate event needs at the Hall – this includes rentals most weekends in the summer.
This is a unique opportunity to live in the quirky hexagonal log house adjacent to the Vallican Whole! Couples and families are welcome to apply, pets will be considered – but please note, there are no fences on the property, and lots of “wandering” neighbourhood dogs.
