SUMMARY:Thanksgiving Locavore's Feast
DESCRIPTION:The beloved Locavore’s Feast is back!\nA community potluck and thanksgiving where we share in the abundance of local food and community\, the Locavore’s Feast is a long and much-loved tradition at the Vallican Whole.\n \nOn Saturday\, October 8th\, all are welcome to join for a bounteous dinner\, followed by “Six Slocan Minutes”\, an almost-anything-goes open mic. There will also be a live Pie Auction\, where you can bid on beautiful pastries made by local bakers and makers.\n \nAdmission is a generous dish to share\, made of local-as-you-can ingredients. Cash donations to the Vallican Whole are also much appreciated. There will be alcohol for sale\, as well as a special seasonal mocktail.\n \nThis event is generously sponsored by the Kootenay Co-op Grocery Store\, and brought to you by the Vallican Whole Community Centre.\n \nWe would love and appreciate volunteers! If you want to help out with set-up\, clean-up\, or in the kitchen and bar\, please contact us!
