The Vallican Whole is about 35 minutes drive from Nelson or Castlegar, and 30 minutes south of Slocan City. There is currently no cell phone service in this part of the Slocan Valley, so we recommend that visitors download or print a map before travelling.
From Highway 6, turn onto Passmore Upper Road and cross the bridge over the Slocan River. Just after the bridge, turn right onto Kickwillie Rd/Passmore Lower Road. Follow Kickwillie north for 2.5km to Little Slocan South Road (you’ll see signs for the Vallican Whole). Turn left, drive about 1.5km and the Whole will be on your left.
